How Tierra Increased Mirthy's Event Bookings Through Smart UX

Mirthy's booking confirmation page was a dead end. Tierra rebuilt it into an engagement hub, leading to a 3x increase in bookings and 10x more social shares.

The Story: A Simple Page with a Big Problem

Mirthy, a popular platform for online events, had a conversion funnel that worked well—up to a point. Users would find and book events, but the moment they hit "confirm," their journey was over. Tierra was brought in to fix this single page, and the results were massive: a 3x increase in follow-up bookings and a 10x increase in events shared.

The Problem: The Journey Ended Too Soon

After a user booked an event, they landed on a plain, text-heavy confirmation page. While it provided the necessary details, it was a dead end. There were no clear next steps, no prompts to explore other events, and no easy way to share their excitement. Users had nowhere to go, and Mirthy was missing out on a huge opportunity.

The Opportunity: Turning a 'Thank You' into 'What's Next?'

We realized the moment a user books an event is a golden opportunity. They're excited, engaged, and already invested in the platform. Instead of just saying "thank you," we saw a chance to ask, "What's next?" The strategy was simple: transform the confirmation page from a boring receipt into an interactive hub that encourages users to discover more, book more, and share more.

The Solution: A Smarter, Harder-Working Page

Tierra designed and built a new confirmation page from the ground up, focused on action.

  • One-Click Booking: Removing All Friction We knew users wouldn't go through a long booking process again. So, we built a "one-click book" feature right on the page. Now, when users see a recommended event they like, they can book it instantly. One click to book, one click to cancel. It's that simple.

  • Intelligent Recommendations The new page intelligently upsells by showing users more of what they love. It automatically suggests other events in the same series, more events from the same host, and other popular events in the same category.

  • Effortless Sharing to Drive Growth To help Mirthy grow organically, we made sharing easy. A social sharing menu pops up after a booking is confirmed, allowing users to share the event with their friends on WhatsApp, Facebook, and more with a single click.

The Transformation

The difference was night and day. The old page was a wall of text that users quickly abandoned.

The new page, designed by Tierra, is an interactive dashboard that feels like part of the experience.

The new design gives users a clear confirmation on the left while allowing them to scroll through and instantly book new events on the right. It’s clean, visually rewarding, and built for action.

The Results: The Numbers Speak for Themselves

The impact of redesigning this single page was immediate and substantial. Mirthy saw:

  • A 300% increase in the number of events booked by users immediately after their initial purchase.

  • A 1000% increase in events being shared with others.

The Takeaway: Never Waste a 'Thank You'

This project proved that the user's journey isn't over when they click "buy." By optimizing the post-conversion experience, Tierra helped Mirthy unlock a powerful new channel for engagement, revenue, and organic growth, turning a simple confirmation page into one of their most valuable assets.
