OpenBlend's users were encountering a persistent, often overlooked snag: every time they switched between different modes within the application, they were met with a full page reload. This seemingly minor delay accumulated into extra clicks and frustrating wait times — disrupting workflows and eroding the overall sense of seamlessness. Small frictions, multiplied by frequent interactions, significantly impact satisfaction and user retention.

How We Helped
Implemented industry-standard UX principles for managing long menus — collapsible categories created a cleaner, less cluttered interface while still providing access to all options without overwhelming users.
Strategically relocated secondary links from the top navigation bar to sticky positions at the bottom left of the screen — freeing up prime real estate and providing contextually relevant quick-access points.
Re-engineered the navigation so users can access any page in any mode directly — without clicking a mode, waiting for a default page to load, and then selecting their destination. Truly instantaneous.
Added smooth animations to collapsing and uncollapsing menus — subtle visual cues that contribute significantly to a perception of polish, reliability, and care, building trust in the application.
